Outline fed to AI before writing chapter?

When generating the starting text of a chapter that has scenes generated from the linked chapter in the outline, is the AI fed the outline as well as the scenes? I've suggested chapter memory is an important feature before, but I may be seeing evidence that things that are clearly stated in the outline are ignored by the AI when generating the chapter text, in favour of things it creates to fill in the gaps.

For example, in the outline of the previous chapter, it states that Marcus attended a lecture given by Brand, but then in the next chapter, it says they both attended a lecture by a different professor. Is that the AI just being randomly creative, even though it has the outline, or has it not been given the outline along with the chapter scenes when generating the text?
