While I like most of the outcome of muse, there is something that is really annoying. Muse seems to be trying to fit in comparisons all the time. e.g. “Lutz waved his hand in the air as if he were looking for a cigarette.” How is somebody supposed to wave in the air to look for cigarettes?! This does not make any sense and I have a ton of those “as if” phrases in my prose that I need to correct, because they simply do not make sense. I like comparisons to add detail, but muse is using them too much and most of the time they do not make any sense to me. Maybe they would in another language, I do not know, but to me they are just stupid nonsense.
