We’ve heard your feedback, and have added richer Character trait management to Sudowrite. You can now create different character templates—no more one-size-fits-all Character cards.

Set up different templates for main characters, side characters, villains, lovers, or anything else you need, each with its own specific set of traits. (LitRPG authors rejoice!) These templates are differentiated by the Role in your Characters section, and they work just like Worldbuilding’s custom elements.

To create a role-based template, just click the three dot more menu (•••) at the top of your Story Bible’s Character section and select Customize Traits. You can have as many templated roles as you’d like. Spend a short while setting up your templates now, and save time creating those character types forever after.

Totally Unrelated Bonus Update: We made document loading way way faster. Toggling between documents in a project is now 2-3x faster than it used to be!
