New!
Each book in your series is a part of something bigger. Now Sudowrite treats them that way too. Introducing Series foldersâwhich help your characters, story worlds, and narratives flow seamlessly from one book to the next.
Series folders grant cross-project Story Bible access. Just create a Series, drop in a project, and any other project in that Series will have instant access to its Characters, Worldbuilding elements, and Outline. Plus, edits made to any of those elements are instantly reflected between projects in the Series.
Creating a Series is simple:
Click the + New button in the upper lefthand corner
Select Series from the dropdown
Add your books by either dragging them in or importing them directly into the series
Once youâve done so, every project in that Series can access the shared Story Bible elements. That includes brand new projects, which will be created with a Series-aware Story Bible. All you have to do is decide what happens next.
Series folders also include a Series Timeline feature, which helps Sudowrite understand the sequence of your books and keep track of narrative developments across your entire series. Arrange your books in their proper sequence once, and Sudowrite will remember the rest.
Series folders are available nowâwe hope this helps you craft even more complex and compelling multi-book narratives!
Weâve already got improvements planned for Series supportâfor example, an update to Story Bible that reflects which portions are sharedâso stay tuned for more, and be sure to share your feedback in the meantime!
