One of the biggest reasons, I paused my subscription is the lack of control when it comes to word count. I am a writer who prefers short prose then expand from there. Often when I try to limit the card/word count, the AI goes even further than I wanted. Having the ability to set a limit on word count would make all the difference, especially as someone who loves to expand from there.
Another reason I paused, the lack of control in writing style and the ability to set writing instructions. I appreciate the ability to guide the prose, but I want to instruct the AI to write in my style using instructions and samples. This would help me control overall author voice and tone, ensuring the prose is balanced.
Until then, I will continue to pause my subscription.
