Variable output for EXPAND

Please add a slider switch to the expand function allowing users to vary the text output size from say for example… between 100 words and 2,000 words. Currently, whether I input 18 words or 500, the expand function outputs around 2,000 words. Incidentally, someone in customer service suggested using the quick edit function instead, but it doesn’t work the same or as well, for this purpose.
