Toggle Series Characters on/off as group by book

I would like to be able to select all characters by book and hide all in one swoop.

I’m working on a series and although I appreciate being able to hide/unhide characters depending on which book I’m working on, it’s very time consuming to manually go through and hide all the characters for the book I’m currently working on, unhide the characters for the book I want to make edits to, then go back and do it all again.

I would also like to be able to sort characters and word building elements automatically so they are grouped by book, name or type. Maybe I should make a separate feature request for that.
