Retain Comments When Copying or Exporting Content

In my daily workflow, I often rely on comments as essential editing notes for myself. However, I’ve noticed that when I copy and paste content into a different document (for example, when splitting a chapter into multiple parts), the comments do not carry over. This results in a loss of important context and disrupts my editing workflow.

It would be incredibly helpful if comments were retained during copy-paste operations across documents. Ideally, comments would also be preserved when exporting files, allowing for smoother revision processes and better collaboration with editors or beta readers.

Keeping comments intact through copy, paste, and export operations would make it much easier to reorder, restructure, and revise content without losing valuable annotations.
