Removing space after paragraphs

I appreciate the space between paragraphs in the writing phase, but when I copy and paste over to my formatting app (Vellum), I have to laborously remove every single white line of space between all the paragraphs. It’s not only time consuming, time wasting, but very painful for my hands. I can’t find any settings to access. I also don’t have a password for my account for some reason, so I’m concerned if I might lose access and be unable to continue writing my books.
