Persistent Plugin Pages

When browsing and/or searching the plugin directory, any use of the Back button or page reload automatically dumps you back to All Plugins / Sorted by Popular at the top of the list, ignoring any category or filter you’ve applied, and losing your place if you’d already scrolled past a few dozen (or few hundred) other plugins.

I try to remember to open specific plugin pages in a new tab, but I’m not perfect. And even when I do everything to prevent this from being an issue, a site error or blip in the internet could force a page refresh, and it can take an extensive amount of time to find where I was.

The plugin directory should remember where I was if I need to hit the Back button or reload. It should get the category and filter right, and it should scroll me to where I was on the page.
