Outline Format for Outline

This seems too obvious. I like to work out my story in outline form before I convert it to sentences or prose

1 Meeting of the Club

A. Minutes from last meeting

B. Roll Call

C. New Business

i. proposal 1

ii. a different proposal

D. etc.

this way I can instantly see my sequence and adjust as needed. From there I would go back, add notes and details to fill it out. Then I use the OUTLINE to write my rough. I can easily compare and crosscheck.

I wish the Outline section of the Bible ( and the Scenes section in draft) would support this format.

Another suggestion for outline:

quit trying to number the “chapters”! Or at least number them dynamically as they are arranged! If I have 10 chapters and decide I want a new one between 3 and 4, I should not have to renumber them all.
Maybe I want my outline to be scenes or smaller segments. This way instead of 10 numbered chapters, I can create 40 or 50 segments, and am able to easily reorganize them.
