It would be really a big and essential move to have a setting to choose a language from. Let me explain with simple statistic :
- Total global population: Approximately 8.2 billion people.
- Native English speakers (first language): Approximately 390 million people.
- People who do NOT speak English as their first language: Approximately 7.81 billion people.
- Estimated global total: UNESCO estimates that approximately 2.2 million new book titles are published worldwide each year, across all languages.
- Percentage excluding English: If English accounts for around 22% of publications, it can be estimated that about 78% of books, or approximately 1.7 million titles, are published in other languages each year.
