Markdown editor for bible / Import Export options

I know your editor uses .md files behind the scenes. I use markdown regularly in my “real” job. It would be very helpful to me if I could have an option to directly edit in Markdown.

I would also like to be able to import and export text in .md format. By the way JSON and/ or XML would be great for character and worldbuilding import/export.
