Improving Organization of World Bible

At the moment, the world bible just puts a card at the end of a long list. When you get to more than 20 cards it starts to get unwieldily. While you can manually drag things around, I’ve found that it’s time consuming when the cards get long. Finding things in the story bible is honestly kind of a nightmare right now if you have a print based disability because you have to skim everything. Since the top of the page populates with the current chapter, even using the browsers “find” is limited it’s also looking through the chapter words, character cards, and the world bible.

At the very least you should be able to sort world building cards by type and have them listed alphabetically.

Suggested for features of world bible organization are:

1. Have a separate window or area where you don't see card details but only the title and type of card. Include buttons for moving the card up or down, and allow users to click and drag. That would limit the data on the screen and reduce lag (which is a big problem right now if you try to drag things in the world bible).

2. Have a “filter” option you can toggle to pull up just government, or whatever custom types a user has created.

3. Create a visual hierarchy. So that there’s a heading before everything in government, etc. It will make searching easier for anyone using a screen reader or keyboard navigation much easier. Users can either manually add things to the categories or it’s grouped automatically by the card type. I can see pros and cons of both versions.

   1. Personally I think that having it group automatically makes the most sense provided you allow the user to dictate the order of appearance. For example, I tend to keep “key events” at the top of my world cards for faster reference. And at the very top I have a “general world information” card, again for quick reference.
