For existing republishing of books

I wanted to republish a book, and redo some of the dragging conversation I had in the first chapters. I uploaded it from the only old CD I could find since I am not currently in the house I wrote it in and it probably went into brainstorming. Sudo changed formats. Now I have page numbers in the middle of a page and paragraphs are changed, no indents etc and when I bring it into word, it is a complete mess. All I really wanted from your site was the ability to bring in an existing book, redo some stilted dialogue, and then bring it into a word program and have it formatted so I can resend to the book publisher as this was already a published book. This would be very helpful. Now I have a mess that I need to go in and manually change. I h ate it.
