Ellipsis and em-dashes disappearing in uploads - toggle please

When I had uploaded the document I am currently working in, I noticed that all my em-dashes and ellipsis characters were converted to double dashes and three-dots. I can correct this when I feed my updated document back into Scrivener to format it for publication-ready documents, but it’d be nice if I could either toggle em-dashes and ellipses on or off
