An user is writing a mystery that extends through a series. They’re instructing it to foreshadow or present a clue in specific chapters, and sometimes, it takes cues from notes of future books in the series and exposes the plot prematurely. They have to go in and explicitly tell it not to present clues.
A good solution would be to split the story bible into a portion for the series references and a portion specific for the book.
The user mentions that Novelcrafter uses this setup, where you can tag a codex to be book-specific or part of the series.
