Better editing, rewriting, drafts, scenes, and chapter splitting - following manuscript format.

So far, the rewrite feature is okay but it makes too many incorrect changes that don’t exist in my story bible. It’s fine for basic things but ultimately it changes character names, location names, character details that are explicitly outlined in the story bible yet it deviates completely from this unless explicitly stated in the rewrite command each time which is very tedious and there is a character limit in the rewrite command box. I have to rewrite, input, rewrite, input, rewrite, input, then custom quick edit to fix the details to be accurate to the story bible…it’s tedious and just wastes credits. Sudowrite really helps my creative output because of my ADHD and frequent struggles with writers block…but I wish it was more accurate and efficient.

Also, it does link chapters and outlines and scenes but I feel like it doesnt do much since I have to fix basic errors that it shouldnt make by going off previous chapters for continuity. And it tends to get repetitive despite explicit instruction on what to do. The story bible if constructed correctly with explicit detail should solve this but it doesnt. Despite all of my explicit detailed instructions, it makes a lot of errors that are so outlandish it can be frustrating and wastes credits trying to fix. All of my projects are original from my imagination that I created before using this tool to help so I have everything fleshed out and designed already. It doesnt always hit the mark despite that and it’s frustrating like if I put in that this character is xyz with this personality it will deviate from that entirely off and on. Obviously you cant rely on this to do everything, but creating MORE work is redundant. This lays the foundation for those that struggle to get it out or articulate things, like me. But it’s not something to use to do all the work from start to finish.

Also the write feature is alright but I tend to struggle with starting and transitioning, so it would help for it to not JUST be an autocomplete. But also a generation based off instruction and the story bible.

And it would be exceptional for it to be manuscript formatted. Otherwise that will have to be done manually which would be maddeningly tedious.

As well as just novel format it doesnt even follow. Like dialogue is always supposed to be a new line for each speaker but it lumps all the dialogue lines in regular paragraphs that you have to go in and separate.

While this tool is great and helps a lot, theres a lot of room for improvement. Especially for the price paid to use it the way I do as a writer who has a lot of novels in progress.
