An interesting option

Would it be possible to have an option where, as the AI is developing the prose, instead of just creating generic fillers for potential plot holes, it stops and asks a question? This might give the author the ability to guide the AI in the direction the author wants rather than the AI just taking over where gaps might exist.

This might also give the author the ability to better develop the rest of the story-bible instead of spending time and effort editing misguided attempts by the AI to find solutions where gaps exist.

If this is possible, the AI might give suggestions as to where the story might go. This could help the author with writers block develop a better story.
