Alteratives

I was very happy with beats. They have been used in genre fiction since the beginning, More importantly, beans watch to make sure I’m hitting all the tropes. Why not make this issue alternativivlities? A choice? You are shoving this down my throat when all you need is a set of tools (text box for beats vs larger text field for scenes and as a ex-programmner doing this is a afternoon one and done.) A choice please.
