For those who don’t want to read all of this: The user is proposing that Sudowrite integrate four key external writing tools directly into the platform to create an "All-in-One Writing Hub." The argument is that this consolidation would transform Sudowrite into a game-changing AI-powered software by significantly improving the professional writer's workflow.
I love sudowrite, but there’s more items I use while writing a chapter. I would love to see integration of these for they will make sudowrite even better to use for myself and others.
First one is: WordCounter - Count Words & Correct Writing
The one reason that I am suggesting this is because if I tried to make a plugin for this it would take forever to make. This one is one that some basic options, makes a world of difference to a writer.

Second one is: Grammarly
Just a plugin does not catch all that Grammarly does. Yes, I can get the basics from a plugin, but Grammarly is more of a devil about stuff (it’s more persistent about stuff).
Third one is: NaturalReader
This one is so that after that I have read a chapter multiple times, when I am tired of reading the same chapter to make it sound right. That I have this read to me and of course I find areas that need to be fixed (I do so hate grammar). Now, I do know that the computers do have reading software on them, but those voices do not sound like a human voice. And if I hear those voices, I shut down on wanting to write.
Fourth one is: A speech software of someone dictating and the software writes for them. I never have use one, but I do know that there’s users that have asked for it. There is one called Dragon NaturallySpeaking.
These four suggestions would make sudowrite a game changing AI-powered software.
Now lets’s AI it!
Executive Summary: To solidify Sudowrite's position as the exclusive AI tool for novelists, we must eliminate the need for users to leave the application for essential final-stage tasks. Integrating key, high-quality functionalities (Grammar, Speech-to-Text, Advanced Word Count with Writing Metrics, and Text-to-Speech) will increase average session time by an estimated 20% and reduce user churn by making the writing environment sticky and indispensable.
Business Challenge: Workflow Friction & Time Cost. Writers constantly export or copy/paste work to external tools for professional metrics (readability, word count).
Solution & Benefit: Integration of Persistent, Advanced Metrics. Implement a native, real-time metric panel that includes: readability scores, repetitive word frequency, and pacing analytics.
Quantifiable Impact: Provides an immediate competitive edge and saves users approximately 10-15 minutes of context-switching per chapter, directly appealing to professional novelists.
Business Challenge: Quality Control & User Trust. Basic grammar checks are insufficient, forcing reliance on external, "persistent" tools. This toggling undermines the "all-in-one" promise.
Solution & Benefit: Deep, Persistent Error-Checking Integration. Develop or integrate a system that mimics the "devilishly persistent" and deep-level style/tone checking of industry leaders. Offer proactive suggestions on voice, clarity, and passive tone as the user types.
Quantifiable Impact: Increased User Retention. Ensures the final output from Sudowrite is higher quality, removing the largest reason users leave the app/website—the need for a final, external polish.
Business Challenge: Editing Fatigue & Accessibility. Writers become "reading blind" to errors. Robotic computer voices are grating and discourage use, especially for users with auditory processing needs/issues.
Solution & Benefit: Integration of Premium, Natural-Voice TTS. Implement a high-fidelity TTS feature with human-sounding voices. This transforms the tedious editing process into an accessible, relaxed proofreading experience (auditory editing).
Quantifiable Impact: Enhances Accessibility & Improves User Experience (UX). A premium TTS feature can be leveraged as a premium tier add-on or a major feature upgrade, justifying higher subscription value.
Business Challenge: Expanding the User Base & Workflow Flexibility. A significant segment of professional writers prefers dictation. The lack of a robust, high-accuracy STT feature prevents these users from adopting Sudowrite.
Solution & Benefit: Native, High-Precision Dictation. Integrate a state-of-the-art STT engine into the editor. This allows users to dictate chapters directly into the Sudowrite environment, immediately ready for AI-powered revisions.
Quantifiable Impact: User Acquisition & Market Penetration. This immediately opens Sudowrite up to the significant market segment of writers who dictate, providing a frictionless transition from spoken thought to AI-assisted final manuscript.
By integrating these four workflow essentials, Sudowrite ceases to be just an AI tool and evolves into the single, indispensable "All-in-One Writing Hub." This strategic move is not about adding features; it is about establishing unmatched convenience, professional utility, and superior quality control, which will guarantee long-term market dominance and higher customer lifetime value (CLV).
Heck, if someone wants the math that the Ai and I did, please leave a message on the suggestion post. And I will post all of the math… even the basic value that I assigned to the wordcounter.
