The idea is to make any paragraph into a draggable section, saving the time and effort to copy and paste it. Doing that would also help visualize better the arrangement of bulks of text. On top of that, introduce scene partitions. Scene partitions would separate the page anywhere to sections. These can also be dragged - pulling all the text beneath them up to the next scene partition or the end of the page. Both may also be collapsed or expanded, so it's easier to retain plot cohesiveness and orientation, especially where there are two or more sub-plots running in parallel or colliding into the same chapter.
