In macOS command+f is the typical keybinding for a search feature. Ctrl+f is actually a default keybinding in macOS that moves the cursor forward one character in any app. I use it a lot, and it's muscle memory at this point. So getting the "Find and Replace" popup each time is kind of painful :)
