New!
We just added a whole bunch of newer, frequently requested models to Sudowrite. Here’s what’s new, what’s changed, and where you can find them.
This release includes:
Claude 4.5 Haiku: Super snappy, brainy, and economical—this may become a preferred model for quick drafts, summaries, and line edits.
Gemini 2.5 Flash Thinking: Fast and capable idea machine for brainstorming and outlining.
Kimi K2: Creative and minimally censored, great for less-safe-for-work prose.
DeepSeek v3.1: Smarty pants! Great for logic-heavy plots, CYOA, and structured planning.
GPT 5: While GPT 5 was already available in Write, we’ve just made OpenAI’s super-versatile recent release available in Draft.
We had to make some space in the Write Settings menu for these new (and upcoming!) models, so we’ve removed Mythomax, Goliath, and Mixtral as options. The upside is that only very capable AI models remain, so we’ve added new Write card length options of 1000 and 1500 words. That means you can now use Write to generate longer, still-coherent scenes. (We’re looking at you, Pantsers.)
All of these new models are available now in Write, Draft, and Plugins (with the exception of Gemini, which hasn’t hit Plugins yet). Try a few to see which one “gets” your style, and let us know which model becomes your new go-to!
