Here are some recent updates that improve the Sudowrite experience for everyone.

New AI Model: Airoboros — We’ve reintroduced Airoboros following the model’s downtime earlier this year. This model is widely appreciated by authors for its immersive descriptions, lengthy outputs, and instruction following capability—as well as its credit efficiency. It’s now available in Write Settings, the Chapter Generator, and Plugins.

Series Story Bible Section — We added a divider to a project’s Story Bible (in the left nav) when that project is inside of a Series folder. The divider indicates which sections are specific to the project, and which are shared with the Series.

Automatic Dark Mode — We added a new theme option that respects your OS’s dark/light mode preference. When enabled it will use Sorbet for light mode or Charcoal for dark mode, and it will change in accordance with your current OS setting.

Faster Plugins Directory — The Plugins Directory was really slow to load when scrolling through it. We fixed the underlying issue, and the whole directory loads much faster now.

Unpublish Fix — We fixed an issue with a misplaced button and overlapping page elements that occurred when you attempted to Unpublish a shared document.

Quick Tools New Lines — We updated Quick Edit and Quick Chat so that you can now use Shift + Enter in their text fields to create a line break.

New Tab Shortcut — We added a shortcut inside of a project that allows you to right click (or Command + Click) on the Back button to open another instance of Sudowrite in a new tab.
