Over the the past few months, we’ve been quietly making some big improvements to the text editor engine that powers Sudowrite.

Most of the changes are invisible. Everything should just work the same as it did before, but we’ve laid the groundwork for some cool features in the future.

What you may notice…

• It’s faster and has less lag.
• It works better with very large documents and on older computers.
• It works better on flakey internet. We now save your document to browser storage, so even if you go offline, it’ll sync back to the cloud when your internet is restored.

Try this: Open two windows to the same document and put them side-by-side. Type in one window, and you should see the text changing instantly in your other window.
