Series Bible Organization/Redundancy

1.) It would be really helpful if a Series Bible would just have ONE entry for each character, setting, etc., instead of creating a separate one for each book. In the event that the characteristics of a location change from book to book, maybe the entry could have separate subsections labeled “book 1”, “book 2”, etc. Otherwise, that’s a lot of (mostly redundant) information to wade through!

2.) In addition, it would be great if we could organize all the entries in the Series Bible so they aren’t randomly mixed around. This makes it hard to find information we’re looking for, especially in a long series or one rich with detail. For example, I’d love to have organizing options like:

  • Auto-sorting by category (Characters, Settings, Organizations, etc.)

  • Filters or views that group entries by type

  • A “reorganize” or “clean up” button

  • Bulk actions to move multiple entries at once

  • The option to create folders or categories that entries could be placed into (e.g. all character entries in one folder)

  • The option to collapse or expand all entries (or all entries in a category) with one click

  • Merge entries (this would be helpful if part 1 of my request couldn’t be accommodated. If we HAVE to have redundant info, at least it would be easier to have it all in one entry)
