We'd heard occasional reports of inconsistent results with copy/paste, which could lead to funky formatting upon pasting. So we included the issue as a candidate in our recent Fix-it-Friday poll, where members of our community Discord server voted it their top priority.

After digging deep into the issue, we just shipped the last round of improvements to Copy/Paste.

From now on, when you copy/paste content inside of Sudowrite—from Canvas to your Document, from Beats to Story Bible, or elsewhere—you'll experience more consistent results.

Likewise, we've made several tweaks to ensure that text copied out of Sudowrite and into other applications—such as Google Docs or Word—retains its formatting more effectively. These updates are now live and should make your copy/paste experience more predictable and effortless.
